About the NYT Spelling Bee
The NYT Spelling Bee is a daily puzzle challenging players to construct words from a set of 7 letters. The letters are arranged in a honeycomb layout, with a single, mandatory yellow letter in the center and 6 grey letters in surrounding tiles.
Rules dictate that valid words must contain at least 4 letters, must include the center letter, and can repeat letters. Standard words earn 1 point per letter (4-letter words earn 1 point total). A "Pangram" utilizes all 7 letters at least once, yielding a bonus 7 points!
