📖 How to Play Wordle
Guess the secret word in six tries. Each guess must be a valid 5-letter word from our dictionary. After each attempt, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was:
W
Green Tile (Correct)The letter is in the word and in the exact correct spot.
O
Yellow Tile (Present)The letter is in the word but in a different position.
R
Grey Tile (Absent)The letter is not contained in the secret word at all.
💡 Wordle Tips & Strategies
- Choose a strong starter: Use opening words loaded with multiple vowels and common letters (like
ARISE,ADIEU, orSLATE) to quickly narrow down options. - Don't reuse grey letters: Always double check that you aren't placing letters that have already been marked absent in your subsequent attempts.
- Use the Solver Assistant: If you're stuck, activate our smart hints panel below the keyboard to inspect candidate words remaining!
